Spacer question

Car  clio sport 172
I thought to put 2 cm spacers on all four wheels (195/45/16)...now will there be any improvement or not? is there any downside of putting spacers?
so basically any info by guys who have them on their 172

thanks!

why are you putting them on? for performance?!

Spacers are either to clear coilovers or fill arch room really, mainly looks reasons!
Never heard of them increasing any performance though.

i have the antracite alloys from the 182 cup model and without the spacer the wheel is too much in.
so i was only considered if there are any bad sides of 2 cm spacers

so what spacer size would be the BEST for the 172? mind the cup alloys to fit the arch
what is the cup track width?

so what size spacers (front-back) should i get to get the same width as the 182 cup model on my 172?
are fk-automotive good or some else?

thanks!

Eibach are good spacers, demon tweeks do them, but ring them as they're not on the site, are cheaper then anywhere else.

i've put the spacers today. it's perfect the wheels sit just right by the arches...now the only thing - could it be that the steering is a little harder because of the spacers? do they in any way affect the steering?

Which make and size did you get and how much? Been looking at this thread as no real answers to my thread. Have you got any photos of before and after?
