Wrong offset

  Clio 182 Cup
I have rubbing issues on my tyres and was told to check the offfset of my alloys, the offset is ET 42 and I was just wondering does that mean I need spacers and if so what size?

Thanks

  Clio 1.2 16v
The standard offset on a Clio is around ET 37 I believe. Having a higher offset will mean your wheels will sit further in the arch. A lower offset will stick out more.

17" speedline turinis not renault and yeah by 15mm. Just having some issues with my front tyres rubbing on the top of the inner arch

There's your problem. Doubt a different offset or spacers would help tbh.
Most people fit 16". 17" look too big on Clio's imo.

Can you tell exactly where its rubbing? Eg inside/outside

Oh right, the previous owner bought the 17s. New set of alloys then by looks of it.

Yeah the outside of the tire, so like when I sharp turn left the right side rubs, when I sharp turn right the left side rubs.... if you can understand my rubbish explanations!
