Possibly been covered a few times but is there any mod for these or will a shortshift that fixes these?

I've bought one of these but found the prospect of fitting it a little daunting. Haven't attempted it yet.

Dave, mate long time! All the oldies are turning up on here, Geoff (mittens) was knocking about, Rob (spanishfly) was here for a while, and Chip is on here.

Chip did mention you had a clio now.

I've not fitted one yet, on my list of final bits and bobs I want to do, where you based now days?

Small world! I've chatted with Rob a lot on FB about his. Also with Chip now and then too.

I'm lining up to do some work on the car before the Renault day at Silverstone next month. If I'm feeling brave then I'll have a go at fitting this. The problem I have is I use the car for work so would need to get it fitted all in a day.

Currently up in Manchester as I had a job offer I couldn't refuse.

You going to the Silverstone track day? Would love to see your car with the RS2.

Yes, very small world!

Didn't know there was a track day on at silverstone TBH, expensive month for me as insurance is due so doubt ill be along, but you never know.

I'll be up at French Car show if you have plans to pop over to Donnington.

Mines my daily as well, although its currently down with James at Stone Automotive being mapped, hopefully have it back later today, be interesting to see if any improvements have been made on the pre-mapped power of 194.9bhp.

If you are thinking about an RS2, all I can say is do it!

Fitted one myself (fast road, comes with longer stick)
the kit comes with excellent instructions complete with CAD drawings.
Did it in about an hour because mine came pre assembled, I guess two hours tops.
have to release the exhaust/Cat joint though to create the proper clearance.
it is an excellent mod, only caveat is that if you set it too tight you lose the spring assist as the friction overcomes the spring force.

Cheers guys only just bought the car and its the one things that annoys me
about it lol fitting isnt a problem as am a mechanic by trade anyway
