The £13 OZ F1 tidy up job

I've done enough sets of these over the last 2 -3 years, when a set came up in a breakers yard last week i couldnt say no to buying them but also vowed NEVER to spray any more........... Until i popped in the store room yesterday and saw some paint cans left over. Anyway, i needed 1 tin of lacquer and a tin of tyre black....

So a rub here, a spray there, £13 later here we are. By no means mint, rim edges still curbed but essentially these are track wheels. What colour? ;)

Maybe they're still in primer then? ;)

Correct :D

About an hour to flat all 4, half hour to mask the tyres, couple of hours to paint and flat back once, about an hour to lacquer all 4.

Sprayed them in the garden and the store room, a tad windy too

As mentioned they're a track wheel at the moment so it's a tidy up, a couple of rims are curbed still and a couple of spokes has pit marks. I do enjoy it once I've started.

The lacquer IMO makes them look totally different, better
