Not that I'm aware of.

When sharing your server you can chose which parts you want to share, so I think your friend would need to share theirs with you and select the areas they want you to have access to.

10mb is amazingly good actually, specially for a home.

Its not that great, I'm with VM. Bt infinity gives a better upload, not download though!
