    TomTom ONE or TomTomGO 300 ? ?

The tomtomGO range are about to be made obsolete and will be replaced with the tomtom ONE, tomtom two and tomtom three. I have heard that the tomtom ONE is based upon the tomtomGO 500 and not the 300 if that helps... Oh yeh and the cheapest place for the tomtom ONE is carphonewarehouse instore...

    Outside temp sensor

Had a look today and the plug on my June 05 model is different so decided to get a separate unit.

    Outside temp sensor

Will try this tomorrow and see how I get on. I have the 'nipple' bit and wire from another temperature sensor I got a while ago.

CD changer port on standard 2005 CD player HU

Thought I would post back here to let everyone know how I have been getting on with my connects 2 ipod kit. I have to say the ipod kit is excellent. Sound quality is good and all the track changing/search/pause/stop etc work fine. I have noticed that the track numbers on the display don't...

    Outside temp sensor

Got a 1.2 Extreme 4 without the temp sensor module fitted but would like to get one fitted in my car. I can see the pixels on the screen where it displays the temperature but it doesn't light up. Can I just add a thermistor on here to make it work?

    dell pda sat nav..... (help!)

Forgot to add that there isn't really anypoint in using the bluetooth imo. The battery is not that great on the x50v for longer journeys so you will need to use a charging cable anyway. The 4" screen is fantastic though compared to a lot of the other pda's and gps systems on the market.

    dell pda sat nav..... (help!)

I have an x50v which works great in my clio :) Using tomtom 3 as I wanted a cheap legal version. I use this charger/bluetooth: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5824661794 I also use one of the chargers which I got from ebay seller flippinbargain. Wiring it into the...

    CD Changer for Factory HU

You *CAN* get fit a sony aftermarket cd changer either mp3 or standard. You will need to get the 'connects2 arns003' adapter to connect them together. Should be around £50.

CD changer port on standard 2005 CD player HU

The Dension comes with a docking holder where as the connects 2 just comes with a cable although I believe you can buy the docking holder for the connects2 as an extra. Apart from that they are the same!

    55 update list connections

Another Extreme 4 owner :) The HU does have a changer socket. Its worth noting though that the display and HU in the car doesn't support id3tags. Do a search on these forums for the 'connects2' ipod kit - it does exactly the same as the dension kit but it half the price :)

New Head unit factory CD Changer?

The factory cd changer will only work with the factory HU and nothing else.

CD changer port on standard 2005 CD player HU

Its probably worth noting that the 'Dension Ice Link' package contains a connects2 adapter to connect to the headunit and their own adapter which connects to the ipod: Ipod-->dock cable-->Dension Box-->cd changer cable/phono-->Connects 2 box-->HU Definately makes the connects 2 kit the...

CD changer port on standard 2005 CD player HU

Update: I have now recieved my replacement connects2 kit and it works great! Does everything the dension does but much cheaper. No problem either with the 'update list' HU.

    55 extreme 4 rear speakers?

Yep no wiring for rear speakers on the Extreme 4. You will probably notice that the headunit is an 'update list' and not the common 'tuner list' which most accessories work with. You can get the 'Connects2 ARNS003 mk2' from halfords which lets you add any mp3/normal sony multichanger.
