Just an update.
I left the car stood for a week after driving it around for a week. Came to start it yesterday and everything lights up as expected just no turn over or no clicking like a low battery would give.
Put on a tester and it shows 12.55v. Put the battery charger on and it begins...
Evening,
My Ph1 172 that hasn’t been on the road for just over two and a half years is finally back on (occasional start and drive down the short road at the back of our houses in that time). The battery was knackered from being left out in the cold/not used etc.. So i got a new one and fitted...
Ended up going with the Yale one i mentioned above, didn’t want something too expensive it was just for an extra bit of security on top of decent locks, cctv and good neighbours.
I quite like it, easy to install although i haven’t found somewhere to put the pir sensors yet but the door...
A little bump on this,
Thinking of getting the Yale SR-320 as a little extra security and piece of mind.
How are people finding the app as i'm still reading that it's pretty poor and would probably be the main tool i use for turning it on and off.
Also, can you set a door contact to chime...
Installed Smart IPTV with the 7 day trial and bought a 3 month sub off a randomer on eBay for £5. Only tried it a few times but the streams (100s of them UK etc..) seem to be working good.
Had a look around for this before, some seem to stipulate that the car has to be insured third party at least but others (and supposedly confirmed by their insurance company) say that the car doesn’t.
Greenlight couldn’t quote near if i remember. Not heard of Keith Michaels but i’ll give them a go.
Quite disappointed with Adrian Flux, the price on the Cupra is pretty decent so thought with the very low mileage i’d do in the Clio and mirrored NCB it would come in at a decent price.
It’s...
Thanks mate, just gave them a call and unfortunately they can't match the price i got from the comparison site. Looks like i'll be getting my handbag and make-up insured if i decide to go with Sheilas Wheels!
Here's a longer story than it needs to be..
So it's time for my renewal on my Leon Cupra and I've waited until now to try and get the 172 insured as it's been off the road for a good while. I'm Currently with Adrian Flux who managed to get my renewal price on the Cupra down from £515 to £461...
I know of three different people who have a 6 with all the symptoms of the failing battery yet when they’ve all been to Apple for replacement they say it’s the main board that’s at fault and there’s nothing they can do.
Pretty annoying to be honest as it seems to be more common than they make out.
I did Three PAYG and bought an all in one bundle each month. Three signal was very decent around my area, i used on average about 6/7gb a month.
Only moved away as i now have a work contract i can use.
I still have the apple watch series 1, did the recent update and now i’m getting no feedback through the wrist just a little sound when it should do it.
Pretty pointless watch for me now as i only used it really for when my device is on silent.
That was the main issue i had with signing up again.
Had a text saying sorry to see you leaving and to call a number to discuss the options available. Gave it a shot and managed to get 50% off the TV package and a slight discount on the broadband & phone services bringing the bill to £83 a...
