I run that powervamp battery in the race car (admittedly its not left connected between trackdays etc) and its fine, it starts the car with no hassle and hasn't gone flat on me yet. For the money, I cant fault it really. -Alex

Probably worth checking you haven't got spigot rings that you can remove for a larger set, the three sets I have in this size use them so I would be surprised if these where any different (one second hand set I bought had 58mm spigots iirc). -Alex

I'll recheck everything just incase. Thanks yea it's a real strange one as the issue happened with pretty much half a tank both times (although it could be a coincidence I guess). and disconnecting the fuel rail and reconnecting sorted it.

I have checked the wiring, and i didn't see anything that looked concerning. Out of curiosity if the fuel pump was packing in would that explain the fuel reading? not questioning what your saying just not familiar at all with fuel systems on cars.

Evening all, Ive had this problem crop up on the last two trackdays now, roughly around the same millage into the day with half of tank burned. In short what happens is the car suddenly without warning looses power and cuts out (if you dip the clutch). Literally like the fuel supply gets cut...

I haven't, speaking with Jay & Tony from Burpspeed, I went straight for the bluestuff as I was told yellow seemed to suffer from fade later into sessions.

I know how much of a bad reputation they have on here, but I really couldn't fault the EBC BlueStuff pads I had in the race car at Llandow, no fade, excellent feel and they stopped the car very well. Prior to these I was running pf97's and to be honest, I haven't lost any braking ability... If...

Thanks :), I really appreciate that. The car had some great comments over the day which makes all the effort that has gone into it even more worthwhile. The picture on the other hand, if you like stuff like that I can send you on pictures I take. The majority come out looking like it lol.
