I Just did this job, be careful not to pull the driveshaft out, as this is exactly what i did this week, it took me ages to put back together, with gearbox oil everywhere, and i thought a knackered gearbox, due to a whining noise. i thought the tripod had gone (the end of the driveshaft)...

It doesnt seem to have actually stopped working and the noise is not particularly loud, when driven on jacks... should i take it all apart and see what has happened to the tripod then? Is there a way of telling whether the tripod has collapsed, turning the wheel etc? Is the tripod alone...

Hi. I have broken my rear ABS sensor and I wondered whether the drummed abs sensor is the same as the disced abs sensor. I need to know as someone who is breaking their car has offered me one for a song. Can anyone check for me as I dont have the dialogys software. Cheers all. alex

YAY, gonna take it to powerflow bury, they want 225ish for a stealth system, much cheaper than topgear and ipswich. Ron from powerflow said they would be best and he was sure right, will see how the fit goes!
