Your supporting jack might be putting pressure on the bolt / nut mate. Lower or raise, see if that helps.
You havent got the jack under the gearbox have you? If so it it should be under the engine sump
Not sure how accurate the mag was. Sure someone on here would know the times?
Was the guy running slicks?
Still a decent time for a stock engine if you think about it especially if its running consistant as you said
You just disconnect the battery to reset the ecu.
Maxogens are good due to the enclosed design and the fact they draw the air supply from the coldest part of the engine, infront of the battery. Probably been flow tested too?
I used to get those official Renault magazines sent though and and in a feature, sure it said ph1 Cup racers were hitting 0-100 in 10 seconds, with only a blueprinted engine and sequential box
Probably down to the fact most just bolt the kit on and expect it to be ''good''
Its ok having back to back tests as per the link in this thread but all its going to show is whats the best bolt on kit without mapping. With mapping and your talking a whole different ball game.

Believe they have a tendancy to leak from the selector seal but not to the extent of needing to top up litre wise, more just a common trait with these. If theres not bucket loads of oil under the car which there really should be if youve just dumped 2 litres of oil then its probably just been a...
