could be an air leak . check all your vaccum pipes

i have taken the gearbox off mine as well . . . . . . . also get yourself some sticky labels and label everything up before you go mad un-plugging everything . might be worth changing the cambelt over on the new engine as its out and anything else thats hard to get to such as water pump etc will...

oh no did somebody diss william's when '2 live' is online lol ............... mines getting a 172 engine at the moment which is a car you could quite happily build for under 3 grand that would slay 1*2's
