Clio 1.6 Mk3 poor acceleration
Thanks for the reply Typhoon. Whenever I've had a problem with plugs or coils in the past, it's always caused misfiring - could these still be the cultprit if the engine always runs smoothly? Also, if the timing belt had slipped a notch, could this affect acceleration without causing uneven...- atticus56

Clio 1.6 Mk3 poor acceleration
Can anyone suggest a reason for my Clio 1.6 Initiale Mk3 (2006) having such poor acceleration? The engine runs smoothly at all times, but at lows revs acceleration is almost non-existent – flooring the accelerator at 1000 revs in second gear has virtually no effect, which can be quite dangerous...- atticus56
