Thanks for the response, I was under the impression that you need to replace the whole unit on a Clio 182 as it is all,you can buy? one driveshaft has torn boots and there is grease everywhere and the other has a lot of play and clunks...bought it as a project.

Hi All, I have recently purchased a clio 182 and have noticed for the first couple of minutes on cold start, that it runs like a bag of spanners and is barely driveable. The car misfires and wont rev properly, it runs great after those couple of minutes and feels strong compared to my old one...
