Here’s how I set mine up.

Seems like the ECU needs testing and fixing . Check if pins 3, 28, 33 short back to pin 30 and also check the ecu body as well.

This is the one I have fitted.

Early steering wheels have a battery in them , once that red light on the steering wheel comes on it’s game over unless you can find someone who can repair it .

What @MAXRUNDOWN said , I myself set the stud length accordingly to the amount of protrusion needed to accommodate the nut correctly.

Yes that’s correct , the black box that all the loom connections plug into where you have circled. Also great to see a PH1 receiving some much cared for love. Nice 👌🏻

No , the immobiliser is part of the UCH box , not a separate ecu.

The 3 wires are ign live 12v wake up , the other two are CAN high & CAN low . Not easily bypassed without the use of a can controller box to mimic the ecu as such. Try looking for some sort of controller for it .

I replied to this post on the other group on FB . I did advice on checking the wiring as it has no comms to the ecu . Couldn’t tell you if it’s a runner or not .
