ITB Throttle Cable - Whats Everyone Using?

What setup is everyone using for a throttle cable when running ITB's?

I have a Ph1 so cable throttle already however id rather fit a readily available cable so I ordered a Jenvey cable. Also got a few linkage's so hopefully can mount it to the pedal ok. Does it need to run in the standard sheath and all the gubbings that goes with it?

I got a cable from PMS however it doesnt have the 'pill' on the end so ordered some of these aswell as an option however its just an aftermarket cable.

My options below

1. Install jenvey cable (my preferred if it will work)
2. Retain ph1 cable and trim the sheath to suit, rather not do this.
3. Use the PMS supplied one

A bicycle cable is sufficient enough.
It will have the correct cable nipple you require , the outer cable will need to be of similar diameter of the OE outer cable , so it can fit nicely into the OE kept plastic part at the bulkhead connection that sits in the rubber, and also fits into your linkage adjuster on the ITB’s.
There is a little metal securing nipple that fits the pedal and is cotter pinned through the hole on the end of the pedal.
I’ll try and find it on eBay.

You may need to washers either side of the pedal to help keep it retained and moving freely.

Perfect, cheers for the info. I had ordered one of these months ago, yet to delve into the footwell as cars hard against the garage wall just now until I move it for access so unsure if its suitable.

I already have the jenvey cable with suitable nipple so will use these alongwith what you linked and retain the bulkhead fittings.

Iirc I had a Ph1 pedal, cable and a solderless nipple.
