so hammering the crap out of it was no good. As always the right tool gets it done in seconds - quick trip to halfrauds for a hub puller did it.

I also have a richbrook replacement which cost around £25 look spot on. Took me 20 mins with a hacksaw and a stanley knife. I cut the leather and rubber exterior off with the stanley knife so i could see what i was doing then used a hacksaw to cut down one side of the plastic part which is left...
If you removed the fuel rail guard at the front of the engine it is located just under the fuel rail. You will need a deep 10mm socket to do it. Its not the easiest filter to remove because of its location but it is easy enough shouldn't be too much of a problem.

System is really easy to fit and sounds perfect.
I just had prblems with my brakes so i just had to buy a second hand pair off of ebay, cleaned them up with a wire brush, sand paper and degreaser. Painted them black using high temperature paint.
I cant see the point of painting them any other colour than black as they will end up this colour...
