Sounds like your CAF (cold air feed) You can buy one from any motorsport shop and they don't cost much at worst you'll be looking at £20 and they're very easy to fit just pull off old one and push on new one.

I use a omp one russ but as said you will need to raise the left hand side by 12mm to get it to sit level I just welded in some spacers. If you wanna make one you can use mine as a template if ya want mate;)

Hi all, Could some one who has blanked off the power steering rack holes to use as a non power steering rack on a ph1 172 let me know what bolts you used as I'm having trouble tring to find ones to fit. Cheers Dom

You'll need an aftermarket ecu to run a push button start mate because of the immobiliser.
