im gona need 4 new tyres all round soon, and was thinking of getting 185/60/14 as opposed to the 175/60/14 that are on there at present, will they scrub on the bodywork as the cars been lowered bout 55mm all round, i did have 195/50/15s and they did catch, but will the 185s miss out as they are...

had exactly the same prob, so what i did was grabbed some clear sealant, a hairdryer and put sealant on the inner seals and then masked off around the outside and put the sealant around the edges, i do have pics if u want em

my clios due for its 60K soon (not bad going for a 10yr old motor!!) and im wondering exactly what they will replace and how much it will cost. the only things i can think of are oils, filter, brake fluid?, general check up. i did the coolant, brakes, ind kit, all before xmas so they wont need...

right my bro has fitted a kenwood 7024 cd player in his pug 306 and all the wires are fitted up correctly but there aint no sound coming out of it. when we tested the stereo prior to putting it in the whole lot worked so whats going on? also when the head unit is switched on it reads all codes...

thinking of tinting my windows, dont know whether to do a light smoke on the rear windows, or go for a dark at the rear and light on the front windows? whats the best type, as i want it to remain legal, could i put dark on the rear sides and light on the back window or would that be to gay!!

its not too difficult to change, just so long as youve gota haynes manual or something. took me and the old man bout an hour for the lot, but we werent exactly rushing around, as for tools ul need a star screwdriver bit, which seems to hold most of the bits of the clio together!!

gota weird rattling noise at the revs mentioned and it sounds like its metal on metal, trouble is i dont know where its coming from,(although it sounds more like its from the rear of the car) thought it might have been the exhaust catching the rear tow eye, but not too sure, anyone else had this...

the bump strips on my car are now rattling when on tickover, they are the phase 2 ones, and are held on by clips. whats the best way to re-secure them, and with them off ther car should i have them sprayed the same colour as the car? also as they are hollow, would it be a good idea to fill...

get the kit from halfords, that what i did and looks v.good, as long as your willing to put the effort in!!! the kit costs £25 and ive got pics if you wana see what results you can acheive

what do the treadwear numbers mean on the side of a tyre?? most are around 200 but ive seen some say 280,320. does this mean they are a harder/ softer compound?? is a higher number a harder compound, and if so roughly how much more life should it have in it compared to a softer tyre?
