Just be aware that bikes on the roof can slaughter your MPG. I did a 560 mile round trip the other day with 4 mountain bikes loaded on Thule 591 racks on top of my C5 Tourer and the MPG averaged 35 as opposed to the usual 50.

Had an E36 328i thanks. The 320D E91 remapped was better to drive, only thing the E36 beat it on was the sound and looks imo.

Nought wrong with the 4 pot diesel making that sexy noise. It's arguable though, much cheaper tax/insurance, way more MPG and it wasn't far off in performance when I had one - it was pumping out 210 bhp and around 320 lb-ft and it certainly didn't drive like a turbo'd car the power delivery was...
