i had the same problem.. check the plug that goes onto the sensor on the side of the radiator, mine had corroded, luckily i managed to fix mine.

No, cos the info that is on your PC is not whats on the CD. The installer that is on the CD put entries in your registry and s**t like that. Unfortunately its not just a case of copying you Adobe folder onto a CD. Im sure the techies will tell me there is a way by copying registry files...
