So I've got to beat my knob until it falls off and then screw my new knob onto my shaft :| hahaha! I think I'll order a clio knob before I start hacking at the old one, guess I'm gunna have to have to Hoover handy as well

I'll have a look but I'm probably gunna go with a standard one after reading all that haha! Don't wanna be wrecking my engine with it being my first car

I know, it probably won't be worth it but just personal preference a the end of it

The car is 13 years old and I'm not sure if it's filter has been changed so do you reckon it would?

I'm guessing the grub screws are the small ones that need an allen key

Yeah I am quite new to it, how could you tell ;) that's one of the reasons I joined to lean more, mainly because of how much I like clios tho. And yeah I've heard of those electric superchargers haha I'll have a google at work tomorrow thanks for the help mate :)

So get a new stick from the breakers, put it in the car and put the new knob on that? That does sound more practical tbh haha
