Some insurers give discount for security devices fitted, these are for aftermarket alarms etc. I would not be surprised if you don't get a discount though, for example if you were insured through us, we wouldn't give a discount.

Mark @ Brewsters over in Billericay do a good job. That's who we recommend for our local customers.

I tried claiming back from council once! I hit one very similar to that and it destroyed my wheel. They said they will give me a response within 90 days... I am still waiting and that was about 3 years ago ;)
