I think Jimmy Oakes is probably the only channel I've watched consistently for several years now. Recent videos haven't been the best, but generally the videos are pretty good. I'm surprised he's not got a higher sub count to be honest.
Thought about buying a cheap pixel 8 pro instead now. Then trading it in for the 10 when it's new. They've always done really good deals on trade in for the new releases.
My wife got something stupid like £560 for her 2 year old pixel 7 pro.... And a free set of Google earbuds.
I very nearly upgraded my pixel 7 that I picked up this time last year for £300, to the new Pixel 9 pro XL the other week. With trade in it would have been £650, plus a free set of Google earbuds.
But in reality the Pixel 7 is all the phone I need, I just fancied a bigger screen again.
Pixel 8...
I thought insurance prices had dropped recently. I was paying around £600+ for a E91 325d, and around £300 for my Z4 last year.
Renewal for the Z4 this year was just over £200 in July, and my 130i was £220 last week. Both with Aviva, with max NCB.
My wife's diesel CMax was around £350, which...
Sorry, but I've posted everything I had at the time in the post above. See post #40.
Hopefully that info helps.
I've no longer got the car, so don't have the paperwork either to double check to see if there was more information
I've had Deco Mesh for around 2 years now too, and I've not had any issues other than when my Virgin connection goes down. I get 500mb/s in every room in the house, whereas before with just the Virgin router, I'd be lucky to get double figures in my study.
After my Pixel 6 pro's USB port broke, I bought a temporary Pixel 7 last Christmas for £299, intending to get either a Pixel 9 pro or iPhone 16 pro max. I've never had an Apple product before so am a little reluctant to jump in still, but the LiDAR scanner would be really useful for my work.

I've sold a couple of cars in the last few months. and both times the guys travelled on train/coach for several hours to collect the cars.
One a 2009 E92 325d manual. It was priced pretty averagely I think (lots of cheaper ones, and quite a few more expensive, most had been up for sale for...
I had a mk3 mr2 about 6 or 7 years ago. Paid £700 for it from an older guy as the gearbox was noisey. Replaced the gearbox with a £250 second-hand unit and it was mint after that. Was my first experience of dropping a gearbox and fitting a replacement. Not long after I had to do the box on my...
Thinking about ditching Spotify Premium and replacing it with YouTube Premium.
Currently paying £20 a month for a family sub and YouTube is the same price. I probably watch YouTube an hour a day easy, and when watching stuff directly through the tv the adverts are really intrusive.
I...
Normally a little cheaper if you order from the app I believe.
Showing £35 each currently for me using the link above. But the prices change daily. I ordered a set of breathers for my Z4 a few weeks ago. Was £125 when I put them in my basket, but dropped to £65 one day whilst I was on holiday...
I re-signed last week via the website.
Was paying around £56 I think for M500, Mega TV (TNT Sports & Eurosport), telephone and an O2 sim over 18 months.
The new deal is £42 a month for the same, but with no mention of the O2 sim, as that is paid for separately direct to O2, so going to cancel...
I've been fairly happy with my Pixel 7 that I picked up before Christmas for £300.
Though it replaced a Pixel 6 Pro with a dodgy usb port, so not much of a change. I just miss the screen size of the 6 Pro.
