From this picture it does look perfectly possible. Especially with a knackered engine mount. I wasn't sure how the exhaust was routed.

I was wondering if I can get advice on buying a 197 / 200 car for track days only.
The car will be totally stripped inside and suspension changed for coilovers.

You can just change the rear discs to standard ones instead of the 2 piece if they need replaced. Does need a little spacer though which is a standard part. Did this on mine. God only knows if you can/where you can get the 2 piece ones.
Its actually the diff that makes the biggest difference with the clio cup cars.
I had mine dyno'd at 198 with a airfilter, decat and exhaust so not sure why its a myth?
Sure that was from Opie Oils Fred. No offence but since when does anyone use genuine oil filters - no one I know does. Also don't forget this isn't a road car with a filter stuck on for however many thousand miles - it's a race car and the filter was changed regularly. It's a standard engine...
