Knock turned out to be a dogbone mount and the owner is taking it in to fix on tuesday before selling. Dion

I would plan to do the work between myself and my brother, so that isn't such a hard job as i first though, parts seem quite expensive but, once its done i can rest assured for a while! Any other common faults? Exhaust hangers etc. and the dogbone are the only things i've heard about regularly...

Cheers Jack, i suspect its the ARB or the Topmount or something similar. I'm competent with tools etc. so i can fit whatever it is when i find out. And Archtronics, to be totally honest i'm not planning on modifying the car at all. Theres a few bits i'd like to tidy up if I end up buying it...

Hi i'm Dion from North Wales. I'm thinking of buying a BG 182 54 Reg, never owned a Clio before so what are the main things to look out for? Going to see one this afternoon. And also what are the best insurance companies for a 22 year old with 5 years no claims and clean license? Thanks, Dion
