I replaced the whole loom and it works now. Several wires had melted tgether further down the loom. All fixed. Cheers guys

Hi took my kenwood stereo out my car had it on the drive on top of a box went in the house to go for a **** come out and it was pissin it down so it got soaked, took it straight in, dried it with a hair dryer, just hope it still works. Anyone got any tips wat to do. Cheers Paul

Hi Does anyone know the part number for the wiring loom that goes down the passenger side of the car under the door sill thing. Think it powers all the electrics at the rear. Its a clio 2000 x reg. Cheers Paul

cheers guys. I had a good look at it yesterday and found under the passenger door sill a wirin loom that goes from the front of the car to the rear. And one of the wires had melted all off its plastic casing. I couldnt see it attached to any other wires to cause problems with the brake and...

How can i check this.

Hi The way ive done myn is through the aux on the bk of the stereo. Only certain stereos hav aux in. Think all new kenwoods do. Other way is through alpines ipod system which links it all up for u, but expensive. Another way is through a lead made by dension, which plugs into the cd changer...

my front sidelights come on and my dash lights up and my rear brake lights come on wen i brake, and they all come on wen i turn my sidelights on. Where bouts would i find the rear earth to check. Cheers
