5.0.2 on a moto g2 here. Battery life a little worse than 4.4 but still pretty good. Don't like the interface as much though.

Far simpler way to achieve the same result buddy... Undo the bolt on top of the shifter, make a thin spacer (3-4mm) out of any kind of stout rubber hosing, put int he top of the gearknob for extra preload on the spring. Add a lttle moly/copper grease to the spring. Reassemble. No bungee cords...

Any 2k Laquer should be fine. May react with regaular spraycans so try to get it all from the same place. I get my best spraycan results with a light coat followed 3-5 mins later by a dust coat (hold the can far away from the job) followed by a full heavy coat 10-15 mins later.
