Any difference between Phase 1 and phase 2 flywheels?

Need help guys, is there any difference between a phase 1 and a phase 2 flywheel? Having problems with flywheel sensor picking up the flywheel positions unless I lift the sensor a few millimetres. Only thing we have done is change the flywheel.

Assuming you're talking 172 not V6? V6 very much yes.
