I've had mine 5 yrs & 55,000 miles & it still makes me grin with pride when i see it on my drive as i'm walking up to it for my daily commute. Every day it makes my heart race with excitement as I weave my way along the quiet Lincolnshire country roads; I bl00dy loves it!

When mine came on I called out RAC, he hooked it up to his computer, told me it was a sensor on the exhaust so he had a look underneath, fiddled about for 10 mins, said he'd cleaned it up a bit, then re-set the warning light & every thing was fine from then on. total cost £0, apart from my RAC...

on a similar subject I haven't seen my oil OK for ages, could I have turned it off by accident?

What happened to the guide on here for changing pads? I'm Just about to go out & change the front pads on the 182. Ive done this before but dont remember how I did it, I'm sure there was a cracking guide on here the last time I did them, it possibly was a link to an external website. Incidently...

Mine came on last week, called out the RAC, the guy hooked it up to his laptop & it told him it was the oxygen sensor. (I had been driving in deep snow the day before). He went under the car, told me he'd disconnected it, cleaned it & re-connected it. It's been fine until it came on again today...

oh yeah did I feel a right :clown:. But she was impressed as she had never seen so many 'new' cars on a rally before, she thought only old classic cars did that kind of thing..so I was redeemed really!

Thanks for the advice, think i will stick with the michelins I have then. Sorry to sound like a complete dimwit but can you explain what 'an offset of ET45' is, I haven't a clue; which is quite evident really..

They look great, so I take it this style will fit straight on with no problems, no adjustments etc. Do I need to use different wheel bolts?
