I've had mine 5 yrs & 55,000 miles & it still makes me grin with pride when i see it on my drive as i'm walking up to it for my daily commute. Every day it makes my heart race with excitement as I weave my way along the quiet Lincolnshire country roads; I bl00dy loves it!
When mine came on I called out RAC, he hooked it up to his computer, told me it was a sensor on the exhaust so he had a look underneath, fiddled about for 10 mins, said he'd cleaned it up a bit, then re-set the warning light & every thing was fine from then on. total cost £0, apart from my RAC...
I live in Ancaster (handy for the Renault garage or what!) & work in in Waddington. Been in Whitby all week until tonight though, so not seen any of you around. might see you in the morning though!
What happened to the guide on here for changing pads? I'm Just about to go out & change the front pads on the 182. Ive done this before but dont remember how I did it, I'm sure there was a cracking guide on here the last time I did them, it possibly was a link to an external website. Incidently...
Mine came on last week, called out the RAC, the guy hooked it up to his laptop & it told him it was the oxygen sensor. (I had been driving in deep snow the day before). He went under the car, told me he'd disconnected it, cleaned it & re-connected it. It's been fine until it came on again today...

Ahh, I see, just looked at the k-Tec wheels & it does mention that they come with the offsets required it quotes: "These Speedlines are available with offsets ideal to fit to standard ride height and lowered Renault 172/182"

Sorry to sound like a complete dimwit but can you explain what 'an offset of ET45' is, I haven't a clue; which is quite evident really..

they are a fair bit over budget budget but I may be able to stretch the wallet a bit further. I'm just concerned about the 195/ size would this be ok?
I'm looking at getting some new alloys for my 182, I have a budget of £600.
I was wondering if anyone knows the best place to get them from, Also what size wheels do I need?
I currrently have pilot exalto 205/45/16 tyres on my original alloys so I am assuming this is the size of wheel I...
