Considering adding a cooler to my PAS setup as well as a preventative. Will be tracking the car a bit more this year. So will watch to see how everyone else goes with their install.
Looking at completing my 197/182 hybrid engine build as well. 197 cams, match ported inlets to head, possibly 197 rods and pistons with ARP rod bolts and then mapping to suit.

If using a 182 loom and ecu whats the best way to go about using the 197 head with its dephaser, vvt solenoid etc. Is it best to just run a standalone ecu or to use the 182 dephaser and vvt...

Also once timed up. In this instance I timed my 197 cams with a 7 degree custom timing tool, you can drive the car sedately on Rs tuner 98 .cal file to a mapper for a final tune.
