Weird i ve got the same issue , mine only started after fitting new tyres so i had them balanced again and again still the same . Tyres have also been off and checked .
Judders like mad when you accelerate over about 50 ish , at about 80 there is a slight judder but the car feels REALLY...

I ve had 3 182 s , sold the first for a impreza wrx and the second got sold for cheaper motoring mondeo zetec s tdci . Have got another one now though (sheep spec! ) and am definately not selling this one :)
I thought the same when i had my first 182 , sold it bought a impreza (hated it) . Bought another 182 loved it but financial situation changed so ended up in a mondeo zetec s tdci . Guess what i drive now..... another 182 , this one will stay and the mrs will get a sensible car . God i love 182...

Looking at buying my 3rd 182 , had an impreza wrx and a derv mondeo in between them . Keep going back , for the money hard to beat tbh . Miss my first B/G 182 the most
If the car won t crank intermitently it ll be the female spade terminal on the starter solenoid has a poor connection . (car will still turn over if poor connection on crank sensor just won t fire , but from what you ve described it doesn t crank )
I sold my non cupped 54 plate 182 with 22000 miles to them for £5400 about 2 months ago . So little demand for the non cupped that i thought i d sell it while it was still worth something!! Now rolling in a mondeo zetec s tdci and done my bit for bringing barclaycard out of the recession!
Probably the key tbh , but check the relays behind the n/s headlight for corrosion on the terminals . I know on the 1.2 s it s the relay closest to the headlight that causes this problem sometimes :)
