I ve had 3 182 s , sold the first for a impreza wrx and the second got sold for cheaper motoring mondeo zetec s tdci . Have got another one now though (sheep spec! ) and am definately not selling this one :)

I thought the same when i had my first 182 , sold it bought a impreza (hated it) . Bought another 182 loved it but financial situation changed so ended up in a mondeo zetec s tdci . Guess what i drive now..... another 182 , this one will stay and the mrs will get a sensible car . God i love 182...

Looking at buying my 3rd 182 , had an impreza wrx and a derv mondeo in between them . Keep going back , for the money hard to beat tbh . Miss my first B/G 182 the most

If the car won t crank intermitently it ll be the female spade terminal on the starter solenoid has a poor connection . (car will still turn over if poor connection on crank sensor just won t fire , but from what you ve described it doesn t crank )

I sold my non cupped 54 plate 182 with 22000 miles to them for £5400 about 2 months ago . So little demand for the non cupped that i thought i d sell it while it was still worth something!! Now rolling in a mondeo zetec s tdci and done my bit for bringing barclaycard out of the recession!

Probably the key tbh , but check the relays behind the n/s headlight for corrosion on the terminals . I know on the 1.2 s it s the relay closest to the headlight that causes this problem sometimes :)

You must have the sock induction kit too ???? ;)

Say that when he s driven into you and insurance won t pay out , it s up to him what he does but as i ve said before be worth doing it properly main driver , mods declared etc etc ps would of been better not to mention all the insurance related stuff in a project thread :)

Surely looking at your past record you should insure your next car properly . I don t work in insurance but having your license revoked and getting caught with no insurnce your quote of £930 seems a little cheap ?? Sorry to sound harsh but the people that are paying their insurance properly are...

This could go on forever if you fit this and that , save money and buy a faster car imo . Have fun in your 1.2 wheels , springs etc but draw a line before spending serious money on a slow car you WILL regret it . Im not bashing the 1.2 etc but its not made to be a performance car .

Just fitted some tonight , looks loads better although they need a refurb and i ve got four new PE2 s to fit asap as the tyres fitted are shockingly bad , more pics when its not dark :)

That looks really nice , i think i prefer the 172 wheels over the 182 s . But would it be wrong to fit them? (look like a 172 with 182 rep exhaust?)
