Just saw your thread and was thinking about this at the weekend when I was detailing my own car:
If you already have a Pressure washer etc is it just the extra bits you have to buy or is it a completely new kit you need?
The clicking with the wipers is normal as on the clio there is no such things as intermeadiate wipers, if you have your wiper lever in the middle you are on Auto wiper setting and will work when it senses that it's raining, the click noise you hear is the moto kicking in to move the wipers...
I had a similair problem the other week, Service light indicates a fault and the funtion light tells you where the fault is located, best bet is to read it with a diagnoctic machine to see what fault code is reading.
I was up visiting family near Northwich and could here the cars going round the track! I was going to pop up but didn't have time! I'll be rolling up in the 182 Gordini for Touring Cars though! Been there last 9 years, cracking day out! I'm going to have a look at the Marshals website as me and...
Mine has done exactly the same, came on a few days ago, while driving it went off then back on again and now is on all the time. I've been meaning to hook it up to my diagnotic machine to see what's going on, I will let you know what I find.
I haven't noticed anything to do with the sun or...
I have been looking to get 2 of my wheels refurbed, I have a RB182 with the darker alloys, it's in mint condition and it's always looking very clean but the wheels do let it down, hence why I haven't put any pic's up of her as yet lol. I have spoken to a couple of local companies that provide...
Cheers for the sugestions! I will hook it up to my diagnostic machine tonight and see what it says while having a fiddle under the seat and see if that makes a difference.
Will let you know :)
I was driving to work yesterday and noticed that my Service light was on along with my Airbag icon on my dash. I have a RB 182 Gordini. I have tried turning off the passenger airbag to see if the fault was coming from there but the icon light was still on. During driving to work today it went...
Bucks, just seen your question and been reading your thread. Take it sideways Dan at 519 Automotive! I was looking to get mine done in November last year and got all sorts of prices but Dan was the best! He is a Renault specialist and sorted mine out a treat! Give him a buzz or privite msg him...
Sounds very dodgy to me. Asking £1100.00 needed all that! I always thought that belts were due to be changed at 5 years or 65,000 miles whichever came first! I wouldn't be paying anymore than £700 for that as you could find it needs even more doing once you get it on a ramp.
What's the...
Re: The car you wish you never sold... What were they?
I have no pic's of it but it would have to be my M reg Ford Escort!! Yes I know but before anyone laughs but it was a 1.6 16v and a nice step up the chain from my first ever car at 17 which was a 1.0 Nova (it had 4 gears and the reverse) I...
That does seem a little on the high side for an 04 plate, below average miles though. I can't see why he is not budging on the price, are you paying cash or trading in another car. He may think as he is going to sort the belts out he wants the full price for it, play him at his own game, ask how...
