Wheel Re-furbs

I have been looking to get 2 of my wheels refurbed, I have a RB182 with the darker alloys, it's in mint condition and it's always looking very clean but the wheels do let it down, hence why I haven't put any pic's up of her as yet lol. I have spoken to a couple of local companies that provide the service, however I was shocked at them turning round and saying that they would need the wheels for a week as they are not the std silver finish!

Can I ask.........are they taking the pea or it that the truth?

Yeah, that's excessive. You could do them yourself in a week.

Some places will do them in a day.

My local place quoted me £50 a wheel and a two day turnaround to have all four powdercoated. A week is far too long.
