Personally I wouldn't bother. I had the Piper cams in my old 172 and they were only a few bhp shy of 438/421 figures. I'd expect 197 cams to achieve something similar so you'd be swapping cams for no gain.
Mine were fine with no rubbing.
My setup was 205/50 on 15x7 ET35 with widened track on the front plus 10mm wheel spacers, and 10mm camber spacers on the rear.
I ran 2.5° front and 2° rear camber.
Be aware though that not all 205 semi slick tyres fit the same, some have very square sidewalls...
