polished and black all day. i remember my mate having a set on his 5 turbo raider in the same finish. looked amazing on it but not best suited to a mk2 clio imo.
dude sorry to hear that. that said, if i knew whod done that to my car id be floating in a 5hitstorm of crap at full speed headed in their direction. women problems maybe but theres nothing to say it wont happen again to your next motor because of the same ****! let them know what comes around...
only a bit of banter, but surely you must realise that most people who pass someone in a renault sport clio with the fogs on will think a complete G is at the wheel. its hard enough most of the time to not look like a chav in a clio with them off..... that and they do jack all anyway lol
a cleanly modded flamer is much more attractive than an equally clean iceberg. cleaned my berg to death today and although it looks immaculate its still not got that head turning aspect that a flamer has. good man ;-)
coming from an iceberg owner personally id track the berg and vamp up the flamer. the flamer is a great colour, i think they look awesome on a set of silver turinis. up to you of course but high owners wouldnt bother me on a car with a budget price range like the clios have and id rather day to...
cant stand the boot badges so removed them (ages ago lol) and only just got round to fitting this badge. took the edges off and painted it up silver. as standard it came black and would be too ott on a silver car. also covers the 'clio' holes up quite nicely. well impressed, makes a change from...
coolio. ill have to find someone to map it properly then i think when i get some loose change. its already bled me this month with the decat / aircon delete lol. well impressed with the exhaust note though now and low end pick up :-)
its not THAT bad. it picks up a lot quicker down low but seems to hold back slightly longer when normally accelerating from say 3k. if its being revved hard its hardly noticeable so its not the end of the world. with an rs tune i doubt it would hardly be noticeable as r3k said just wondered if...
the rarer colours do fetch a little more money i think. mines iceberg silver aswell - i saw an iceberg 172 cup go on ebay for about £1000 the other day - thats gotta be as rare as any 172 going but being typical iceberg it didnt seem to make any difference on the price
removed aircon and fitted delete kit, replaced the leaky rad for a shiny new one, fitted a decat, fixed the rear exhaust hanger and gave it a bloody good clean. sweaty day but worth it :-)
