Hi, I don’t suppose anyone has a rear brake disc lying around that they want to sell? I bought a set in Nov last year after my driver stub axel broke... now the passenger stub axel has just broken and damaged the new disc!! It’s for a cliosport 197

Yeah il have a look in the morning,althou if I have to spend,il probs go for Philips crystal vision, althou I don’t think they are road legal? I’ve heard they are a pain to take out but I have a full day to do them

I thought that, but I’m abit weird & use the night lights timer when I finish work so I can see when I get out the car & both were working day before. Maybe it’s just a coinsidence. Il get some new bulbs & check.

Hi, is it unusual for both main headlight bulbs to suddenly stop working? All side lights/indicators & full beam work.. would it be both bulbs gone or maybe a fuse? It’s on a 197.

Please convince me why you need a stub axle in the 1st place. I took it too a garage as fault reading from esp/abs was the rear drivers sensor not reading the wheel. So he said the bracket/axle is badly corroded with the abs wire and il need a stub axle with bracket & abs sensor as apparently...

Does anyone know anybody breaking a sport 197? It’s impossible to find drivers side rear axle stub with abs! Checked on the links above but sold out.

This might sound like a stupid question, but I’ve rang renparts they have passenger side stub axle with abs... would that fit the drivers side or are they different?

Renault specialist are not the easiest to find down Cornwall, I have to take it to a garage sale that don’t hardly see any sport! Yeah I’ve been told il need new discs/pads, Is it ok to drive for a week?

Sorry I forgot to say.. it’s a 197 sport, I’ve been told by Renault it all comes together on the rear axel that’s why so expensive! I’m hoping someone on here may have one somewhere or knows where I can find one.. it’s the o/s rear stub axel with abs sensor

Thanks, for your help, much appreciated. I’ve had a look online & rang Renparts/sport try haven’t got anything, I’m going to a local tyre/exhaust place that do after market exhaust, if that fails I think Renault.
