Or a hell of a way to destroy your main competition. The loss from PS software sales would likely be offset by the legion of COD fans switching hardware
Being reported that Microsoft have just bought Activision

Sony are doomed. First Bethesda and now Activision. No more COD on Playstation?
It's bad, really bad. In fact it's almost comical.
The sound is atrocious. In 5 with a decent headset you could pinpoint footsteps with pin point accuracy. In this it sounds like you're up underwater ffs.
Don't know about PC but on Series X the graphics look worse than 5 does. Next gen my ass...
So the 4K version of LOTR is good? Does it support Dolby Vision or just HDR10?
The other half has got me the 4K box sets of LOTR and the Hobbit for Xmas. Can't wait!
My mistake - I was under the impression the COD issues were solely in relation to non-series X games being run on the series X, but doesn't sound like that's the case.
The thing is for every series X that is having issues there's probably 1000 that aren't. Mine has been flawless - completed the COD campaign without a single crash. Most of the issues genuinely appear to be game related - the non series X version of COD bricking series X consoles and save issues...
I had no plans to buy a new TV specifically for the series X given the living room TV is only a year old.
However, I've been lusting after HDMI 2.1 support since the series X release date so just had a 65inch LG BX delivered yesterday (I couldn't quite stretch my budget for the CX...
They blamed Covid 😂🤣
It's the go to corporate excuse now when companies can't meet expectations.
The £50 is Amazon credit rather than cash. I've been hassling them all morning, spoke to 6 different advisors. Think they just wanted me to go away.
As per my ranting, Amazon are having issues lol.
I just received despatch confirmation so now due tomorrow.
I did manage to dig a £50 gesture of goodwill out of them so not all bad.
So good news and bad news.
The good: my console has just arrived from Microsoft. :)
The bad: Amazon are now stating that the 2nd console won't arrive until Thursday. We started at a £10 gesture of goodwill credit and I've managed to argue this up to £30. How far do you reckon I can push the...
so my UPS order is on track for delivery by 13:30 if the tracking is accurate. However those f**kers at Amazon have completely screwed up on the 2nd console. Stuck on preparing for dispatch overnight, then email stating there's been a delay and they're dispatching now. More like you don't have...
I've just been hassling them on live chat :ROFLMAO:
I've been assured it will be with me and that stock is sitting in my local depot that's circa 30 miles away. Will dispatch overnight.
Not really helpful if my bank blocks the payment, but looks like I'll have to risk it.
My console is...
Cheers. Still not dispatched, but then I live within an hour of a distribution centre so things frequently dispatched in the small hours. Just hoping my bank don't block payment as I won't be awake to rectify it!
