Wiring isnt to bad. I make my own custom loom adaptors. Have just sold a convertion package to a guy on the facebook group. To be honest the engines are crap in standard chassis but with lightness of a clio makes it a awsome toy Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Now about the engine. When i first started the build the golf was fitted with a agu lump. Once i had finished the loom i was able to test fire. Started fine. After switching off i checked engine bay and noticed cambelt had a big groove init so stripped it down to change belts and water pump. So...
