eek? I was hoping for 25 when I bought it, Ive also had a V6 4Motion Golf and I used to get about 18mpg in that :dead: bought the Mondeo to start doing Private Hire, hated it so got rid of the job and the car!

I was averaging a measly 28mpg in my Mondeo TDCi 115, very underpowered engine for the size of the car, same with the golf. I love how I can drive the 172 and get better gains from it than my Mondeo, but have the power there when I need it, was shocked when I first got it by how good it is on fuel.

Yeh, I got the ballast off a fella on here.

Theres a set for £120 without bulbs, power packs or ballast units in the For sale section. Mine come with everything.

Was going to get some from a scrappy and sell these ones on... surely they are worth more than standard lights. Im just sick of them going wrong now :mad:

Is it possible to ditch my xenons on my 172 and put some headlights on off a 1.2 for example?

Ive got the front end of the car off, im freezing, its snowing again, i've just changed the ballast unit and its still not working, both power packs are working as are both bulbs, any idea what it is while the cars still in pieces?? :( Jay
