NOOO! 172 ph1 Dead after mixing up +&- on battery...

    - believe me, it still amazes me how I managed to not see it coming... and yes mark123 has it spot on- installed it the wrong way around but the battery is also relocated. In this case I consider myself very lucky, because the only thing that happened was it blew a 5amp fuse in the engine bay...

NOOO! 172 ph1 Dead after mixing up +&- on battery...

Thanks for your replies, I have now checked the red button, and it had not been effected, also all the fuse’s in the engine bay look fine, but I will change them all today too be sure. What if no fuse has blown? What is most likely to have been damaged?

I've finally started on my "Clio sound system project" again after about a year off. Turns out it is hard to continue working on your car, when you're moving 900 miles across the Atlantic Ocean to another country. But here is the progress I had until...

hi Every time i turn on the heater, my coolant gauge goes through the roof and when i turn it off, the gauge goes down to normal again. And othervise the gauge is somewhat unsteady (bobs a little) could it be the coolant censor or an airlook in my coolant system? or maybe something else...

    172ph1 sound system project

Thanks you guys for all the positive response, I've really put allot of time and effort into the install. I see many of you ask for a guide, I'll definitely do one when I rebuild the doors. 172ph1 sound system project

Then there is the boot; I wanted a clean and practical install. I raised the boot floor about 4-5 inches. I used it to hide all the cables and fitted the amp up under the floor I made a little Plexiglas window or what it can be called to show off the PC I fitted for audio & video...

    172ph1 sound system project

Here are some pictures of the c-pillar plastic; I’ve fitted the midrange and tweeter, now all the bits are ready for mounting. The reason why I upholstered part of the plastic is to match the rest of the boot install; I’ll have pics of it this weekend.
