High EGT and running hot!

The things I come to think of are:

ignition timing
one or both cams are off?
faulty ECT censor

any other ideas or best way to find out what it is?


It's a 172 ph1,
Can't idle for longer than 5 min without overheating or hitting the red.
and the engine bay not just gets hot but extremely hot!

hope you guys have any idea of what could be wrong?
