The Flamers replacement - Mini Cooper S

Swwwwwweeeetttt - I have also gone the MCS route - dont bother with a 15% pulley go straight to a 17% but you wlll need a better intercooler - I fitted an Airtec - plugs and a gates belt - Orranje CAI is on order and a new stainless system - then listen to the whine -...

    2006 Mini Cooper S - Another One.

Yes to a degree - I got an Airtec intercooler fitted when I added the 17% pulley - I did originally fit the 15% but then always wondered how much more go the 17% would give - you can fit the 17% with the standard intercooler only if it gets hot (not too much of a problem at this time of year) it...

yup - if you have a reduced pulley you will and if you fit the Orranje airbox you cut a large hole in the bulkhead (really 8cm??) then your gonna hear even more of it - I have a 17% pulley on mine and its got even more wine!!!!!

Orranje Stealth Airbox - nice mod - you have to cut an 8cm extra hole in the bulkhead for the extra cold air feed!?!?!?!?!?

    2006 Mini Cooper S - Another One.

I've also bought a R53 MCS - brilliant little thing - I've had the pulley (15%) done as well as a few other mods - whilst Ive put some polly bushes in to sharpen the handling up (already lost the run flats) i've just upgraded the brakes Mintex - lowering (i know some bang on about lowering them)...

    Another R53 Mini Cooper S

I will give them a go as I rarely tack cars and its only for SW London - quick heat up is good - I think it may be a bit of trial and error here - and hey its only money

    Another R53 Mini Cooper S

Have had a 15% pulley (Cranes) colder plugs and a shorter belt done so far as well as a few other bits and a stage 2 remap - brakes are another thing as they are not terribly inspiring as standard - have ordered Mintex discs - standard mintex pads for rear and 1144's for front - lets see how...

Is the Clio 197/200 a poor daily?

Yes sold my 200 as I only drove it 6/10th at best in London hence me selling it and getting a MCS R53

    Another R53 Mini Cooper S

Health check done on my R53 today (as well as a full service) all clear except one top engine mount on the way out and some rubber hangers for the exhaust so I had ordered 15% pulley belt and cold plugs within minutes bugger I had just cleared my credit card - see this going down a slippery...
