I got 3-point harness and normal belts for my drivers seat. I removed the ISOfix bar behind the rear seats, and have uses the mounting bolt there for my rear anchorage point. seems to work fine-especially as it's designed to take that type of loading, it's also at a reasonable angle for the rear...
Isn't the thread size different between the Mk2 Ph1 and the Mk2 Ph2? Cos the Ph1 is front mounted, and the Ph2 is rear mounted, I tried a Honda CTR aerial on my Ph1 and the thread diameter was too small IIRC.
I had previously used the the CTR aerial on my Mk4 POLO, and now my mate has it on...
I've done a forum search, but can't find what I'm after.
I've got an AFR to fit on my car, (1.4 16v engine code K4J), and have looked in the Haynes, but it doesn't pin the wiring down to my engine type.
I want to know what the correct wire is for the output, as far as I can see there are...
FYI
Just got a quote from John Pease Renault at Cressing (01376 583345) for air con service.
They reckon it should be done every 4 years.
It takes an hour, and will cost me £60 inc.
Job includes:
Check for leaks
New Pollen filter
Regas
Anitbacterial agent.
If you're talking about the bar with loops/hooks on it, and it's got a plastic case clipped on, then yeah, the bolts are stiff, as they are effectively seat belt mounting bolts, as those loops are for the ISOfix type child seats. So no kiddies means you could lose the bar I reckon. : )
I kept...
outside the wineshop/sun studio rainsford road, Chelmsford on Monday lunchtime?
Had a baby seat in the front, tinted rear side and looked like a cage.
Only seen it in pics before-was looking good
Mmm, good point!! Plus I think the power supply etc for the stuff in the door connects to the body via a plug, rather than complete cable. If that's the case, then it'd be a pain in the ass to connect the led through it.
The door handle LED's I'm using under the dash are from the Chavspeed...
But surely as there are 2 +ve switch wires at the interior light, just test which one is for the door 'open' or 'unlock' function on the interior light-then connect your handles cables to that?
Haven't fitted mine, and haven't full investigated it yet either.
But I reckon: find the switch wire for the interior light in the headlining, then run the switch wire along the top of the screen/headlining, then down inside the capping for the windscreen pillar.
I've already found an earth...
I got some leds to go in mine too, they are under the dash at the moment, but was thinking of moving them to the handles. Surely that is a convenience type mod rather than a chavvy one...?
yeah, that would have been me. I saw you, did you then go into Tesco??
It's actually an Alize 1.4 16v, but I'll forgive you!! : )
Yeah CS sticker is bottom right of screen-the inside window stickers are harder to see I reckon.
I live in Whitecourts near Gt Notley.
