Mmm, good point!! Plus I think the power supply etc for the stuff in the door connects to the body via a plug, rather than complete cable. If that's the case, then it'd be a pain in the ass to connect the led through it. The door handle LED's I'm using under the dash are from the Chavspeed...

But surely as there are 2 +ve switch wires at the interior light, just test which one is for the door 'open' or 'unlock' function on the interior light-then connect your handles cables to that?

Haven't fitted mine, and haven't full investigated it yet either. But I reckon: find the switch wire for the interior light in the headlining, then run the switch wire along the top of the screen/headlining, then down inside the capping for the windscreen pillar. I've already found an earth...

Osram silverstar for me too!! got them from www.startledrabbit.com fitted in Mk2 phase 1, not twin optics though bulb type is H4. Think the twin optics and Mk2 Ph2's use H1 and H7?? made quite a difference I reckon to my night vision-got a free LED keyring when I ordered mine too.

Pirelli p 700 z's, on my car they are 185/55 R14. They are relativley inexpensive and are soft enough for good grip in the greasy road times of the year. They have a nice cntre rain channel for stable driving in water.

THAT colour on THAT car, definately a winner for me!!
