Sorry for taking so long to reply again I have been running the wiring to the head unit and everything seems fine, but i cant help worrying about it now after what Dom has said. I dont know what to do now. How would I wire it to the fuse box if I went down that route?? I'm not sure the cable...

Yeah I'll just leave it as it is then, it's got and inline fuse so if it starts poping that I'll have a re think. I know you would normally connect to te battery for amps/subs but hopefully this will do the job with alot less hassle

Yeah there's a yellow wire On the head unit wiring loom (connecting head unit to car wiring) bur not a spare one. Am I meant to strip it back and just attach it??
