tbh i think that Renault should be looking at forums like this and getting ideas of what to make next

maybe the starter solenoid is getting stuck on which burnt out when he started driving causing the burning smell????

nope they still test diesels for emissions. I know cos i used to test them hehe. All that they do is use a different nozzle for the diesels and insted of keeping the engine at fast idle (2500 rpm) you rev the engine till about 4000 rpm and then let off the throttle. Then test done and the...
