Ok, so… update time.
Having had a mare at CSF Anglesey (read above) I’ve now got the car back up and running thanks to @NorthloopCup and a few others.
Turns out that the springs had exited the clutch
Obviously this needed to be replaced so decided to have a gearbox refurb from mark and also...
So the Clio is booked in for belts on NYE as the five years is up on them.
last MOTnoted that both sides boots have split so I am looking to change both sides.
I am thinking of going to J&R for these as the cost is good however I just wonder as to the quality. Any experience of them on here...
Is there a way to replace just the boot as I've been told you can't?
Would you run a j&r driveshaft on track as they are only £50 brand new, or buy a second hand one and just fit that instead?
If second hand is the option, anybody got one for sale?
