Mark Fish has a prototype for the MK1 172 - he's about 2 months away from having all 172 / 182 models with a full copyright design. The price against a turbo is "much cheaper" - even with forged pistons fitted!!
Entry level is half the price of a turbo and starting from a safety range 240...
Selling the last of my spares.

Reserve is £9000 - if anyone wishes to know.

£7600! You’re not wrong there. You could get a super charger and upgraded engine parts for that, with the engine work - plus alot of change back.
I know a man in Harlow (that we all know of) that has developed a super charger for the 172 and 182….Mr Fish.
230 bhp – linear – no lag...
Ditching the V6? Naarrrhhhh never. I remember seeing a concept about a year ago of the new look V6, it basically looked like a slammed Megane 225 - but no back seats!
17K - lotta lolly! Motorpoint sell Scooby's for that........CDC182 - you know it makes sense!
Yes and no idea! They're a little naughty in a way as it restricts you from only ever getting reggie parts. I opted out the original nav kit for a full Kenwood kit (KNA3200, TMC unit, M900 controller, DV725 head unit), I take it you have the reggie Nav?
I've got a KNA3200 and Road Angel working, the pick up points are in the centre of the front screen. The heat reflective film on the front screen reduces the signal, but doesn't stop it.
